The Electoral College is a bad system for electing Presidents. That’s not just my opinion — most Americans agree.
Under the current system, not all votes are counted equally. That’s how a presidential candidate can win the election despite receiving fewer votes than their opponent — which has happened twice in the last 25 years.
With no plans to scrap the Electoral College, VoteAmerica is working on one way to fight back: informing college students about where their vote matters most.
Introducing: CountMore.us. College students are unique voters because they can choose to register to vote using their campus address or their parent’s home address. CountMore.us informs students where their vote has the highest impact in a presidential election.
If a student who lived with their parents in a competitive state like Michigan is going to school in a non-competitive state like Oregon, that student can select both states on CountMore.us and learn which address they should register to vote at to maximize their impact.
It’s a work-around, not a perfect fix — but it’s just one way we can fight back against the outdated system of the Electoral College.
With Election Day in November, we need to have everything in place to reach students when they get back to campus this fall. With your help, we can engage with college students across America and help them maximize their vote.

USSOCOM: Remember NATO Alliance on Memorial Day
We honor the legacy of coalition #Allies and #partners who made the ultimate #sacrifice in our common service this Memorial Day weekend.
USSOCOM’s J3-International division is in its 10th year and comprised of exchange and foreign liaison officers from 28 NATO and partner nations. The Fallen Soldier Battlefield Cross with adorned ID tags at its entrance is in remembrance of our fallen #teammates.
♠️ The blood-stained combat boots saw service in Somalia and represent the final dusty march of the last battle.
♠️ The sweat-stained helmet saw service in the Global War on Terror and signifies the toil of a warrior’s lot.
♠️ The magazine contains three symbolic rounds for volley fire during a 21-gun salute.
♠️ The memorial contains ID tags of fallen SOF warriors from our #partner nations.
